This painting named "The Second Window" was juried into the Portraint Artists of Arizona show at the Scottsdale Art School in Spring of 2013. The "second window" is actually not in the painting but behind the subject in the wall. Light shining through the "second window" is seen shining onto and reflecting off the back of the hat worn by the subject. The background suggests possibly a tourist in Rome, etc., looking out the other window at the aqueduct and the series water falls below it.
